Landmarks of Art Initiative (LOA)

Landmarks of Art (LOA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) initiative and a project of Fulcrum Art’s Emerge fiscal sponsorship program.   The main objective of LOA is to support art projects, develop exhibitions, and strengthen existing art programs.  LOA focuses on non-traditional avenues for exhibitions with an emphasis on incorporating land based/place based projects.   LOA was also developed with a strong educational foundation and its unique pedagogical ethos has been featured in a book entitled “Art Programming for the Anthropocene” (Routledge Press, 2019).  Currently, the initiative will focus on developing a large-scale site specific work called “The Compass” (please see link for details).  In the future, the fund will hope to create artist exchanges, residencies, support emerging artists, and other endeavors to facilitate aesthetic interactions.
