LOA Borrego Aesthetic Reseach Site

Located in San Diego County on the outskirts of Borrego Springs.  The site is a 154 acre desert property surrounded by the Anza Borrego State Park and sits near the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains.  With unobstructed views of the Santa Rosa Mountain, it is a perfect site for artists to find quiet peace to contemplate the desert.  The site was acquired by the Landmarks of Art Foundation (LOA) as a dedicated space for aesthetic research and will host various art projects including permanent works as well as temporary installations and performances.  The land is home to kit foxes, big horn sheep, countless reptiles, creosote bushes and much more.
