Globes

Being a mixed media artist, everything has potential for becoming an art piece.  The more mundane the object the more potential for art that can hide in visual world.

The images are created on the topographical objects.  People try to escape their lives by wishing to be in a foreign place, and many think that solace can be found by leaving the mundane surroundings.  These pieces represent the idea that ones freedom is not found in any other location, and the first step to oneself, is to seek freedom from the known.  Ironically, the solace that one searches for can found in the immediate distance.  These pieces merely seek to sell water by the river.
